On November 9, 2008, at the Palm Beach International Raceway, South East Rods & Customs hosted the car show portion of the Dick Moroso Memorial Car Show and Races.
The show was very well attended, the nostalgia races were a treat, and the show's cake was iced when the awards were presented right on the drag strip!
Signature Flight Services Charity Show
On November 3, 2007, several South East Rods & Customs members attended Signature Flight Services charity car show at their facility at the Palm Beach International Airport.
Along with the opportunity to view some fine looking cars and vintage aircraft, we were treated to a continental breakfast AND lunch, door and raffle prizes, live entertainment and DJ Donnie, plus a silent auction.
2007 Toys For Tots Show
On December 9, 2007, South East Rods & Customs, along with the Quarterdeck Restuarant, hosted a Toys For Tots benefit show at the Quarterdeck in Palm Beach Gardens.
To say the toy collection was a sucess would be an understatement...the Marines were forced to return to their compound, and come back with a larger truck!
Royal Palm School Benefit Show
On March 15, 2008, South East Rods & Customs members gathered at the Royal Palm School in Lantana for a fundraising Car Show and Festival.
President Donnie volunteered his services as the DJ, and with about fifty cars on the show field, this fundraiser will surely continue as an annual event.
Erica's Restaurant Grand Opening
On April 20, 2008, a few dozen cars gathered at Erica's Restaurant in Boynton Beach for their Grand Opening.
This family-operated restaurant, headed by Chuck, turns out some fabulous food at incredible prices! Daily specials for complete meals...an entree, three sides, and a drink are just $6.95!
You've gotta try their food, and when you do, be sure to tell them the gang from South East Rods & Customs sent ya!
